Telbivudine is an investigational new drug demonstrating marked antiviral activity against the hepatitis B virus (HBV)

Valtorcitabine, or val-LdC, is a second drug candidate for the treatment of HBV.

Valopicitabine (NM283) administered orally once a day, is intended to block HCV replication by specifically inhibiting the HCV RNA polymerase.
